Appeal to all Himilo supporters
Himilo's Board of Directors is asking you to support the completion of the second floor of the Al-Sha'ab school in Gaalkacyo, Somalia. The project will begin in mid-May, and completion is scheduled for the end of July. To achieve this goal, we desperately need your support. Please do not hesitate in making an online donation.

We work closely with Human Concern International (HCI). Human Concern is helping us in the collection of funds. HCI is a Canadian charitable organization engaged in sustainable development and relief assistance programs. HCI envisages socio-economic development aiming at the provision of opportunities for self-reliance and human dignity.
The Al- Sha’ab School was formally opened on June 15, 2007 with 512 students, by people who had the vision to provide the orphans and street children with a better future. Currently, the school is partially under construction. Please help us to complete the construction of the 2nd floor of Al-Sha’ab School. The new space will be used as an auditorium, library and computer lab and for community seminars, meetings and public education.
